Old wiring versus new wiring on blower motor

I recently ordered a direct replacement blower motor for my furnace, when I received the new motor I noticed two wires were connected differently. The green wire is where the black wire is on the old motor. The old motor has the green wire connected from the motor housing to the blower assembly, the new one has the green wire on the connector where the black one was on the old one. Is it safe to assume that these wires can be moved to connect it as it was originally (green wire to blower assembly, black to connector)?

I would be glad to help you with this! Did you order the new motor from us? If so, what is the invoice number or name the order was placed under. Also, do you have the make and model number of your unit available? Any photos you can provide would be helpful as well. Hope we can help! 8-)
