Igniters

Hello, I see two igniters with the same part number but one says that it is silicon nitride. Can you tell me how this would be better for me even though it is more expensive?

I believe that the old type of igniter (Silicon Carbide) is not as durable as the new silicon nitride igniters. Silicon nitride igniters are not susceptible to dirt or oil damage that causes premature failure.
